I’m thrilled to invite you to join me on a women’s tour of some of my favorite places in southern France. Along with my friend and best-selling author Patricia Sands, we’ll play and travel together for twelve fun-filled days!
Memories you promised yourself
Remember the first time the Barefoot Blogger took you to St. Rémy? We drove through the stately blanc trees that lined the streets leading to town? We visited where Vincent Van Gogh spent his last year painting masterpieces like “Starry Nights.” We’re going there.
Do you recall our visit to Arles’s ancient Roman town and Aigues Mortes, the walled city of the Crusades? We’ll be there, too.
How about Sete? You know we couldn’t leave out Sete with its winding canals, indoor market, rows of harbor-side cafes … and the beach? Yes, we’ll be there.
Our days will be filled with walking through the breathtaking scenery in towns like Eze and St. Paul de Vence. Learning about the history and culture of France. Our nights will be spent wining and dining in cozy and chic French cafes. For twelve days, we’ll make memories that will surely last a lifetime.

As much as I love to co-host the Memories Tours, I feel like I’m running out of time! Covid fears and lockdowns took two good years out of my travel adventures. There are so many places to go and things to do that I can’t squeeze them all in.
So, I’m saying “farewell” to hosting tours for a while. For those of you who have joined me and Patricia Sands, “thank you!” You know how much your friendships mean to me now and forever. As for my BFF Patricia, we’ll never say “enough.” We’ll be travel buddies forever.
The Memories You Promised Yourself Tour is from September 19 through October 1. There will be 16 women max, plus me, Patricia, and tour guides in various places we visit. A few spaces are open, so please contact Nancy McGee of Absolutely Southern France.
