The last few days in Uzes have not been a lot of fun. The area is being hit by torrential rain and there has been flooding in many towns and villages.
This week Uzes celebrated its first Blanc Nuit, “White Night”. By all accounts, the event that is an annual affair in Paris will be back in Uzes by popular demand.
When I learned my hometown friend, whom I hadn’t seen in 40 years, was coming to visit me in Uzes, right away I started planning her trip. One that we’d both enjoy.
L’isle Sur la Sorgue is now one of my “best favorite places”to visit and to show off to guests who want to wander through Provence
